With the Choice 7, CORE presents the next evolutionary stage of its uncompromisingly sporty big‑air and freestyle twintip. New materials, reduced mass, and a further refined construction deliver maximum load, explosive pop, and outstanding control – even at top speed and during demanding landings.
With the Choice 7, the CORE development team has consistently sharpened the sportiest twintip in the range. Designed for ambitious big‑air riders and progressive freestylers, the Choice 7 delivers extreme line tension, massive edge grip, and a cleanly defined release. The proven shape of the Choice 6 has been retained, but has been structurally optimized and fine‑tuned by size – resulting in noticeably more performance with the same high level of control.
NEW CARBON LAYUP FOR MAXIMUM REBOUND AND EXPLOSIVE RESPONSE
For the first time, the Choice features the TRIAX carbon fiber composite. 30‑degree carbon layers are combined with a unidirectional 0‑degree carbon layer, generating extremely high rebound forces with a faster rebound frequency. The result is a distinctly sportier riding feel: precise power transfer, direct response, and an effortlessly accessible, explosive pop – exactly when it matters most.
GRIP, SPEED, AND CONTROL THANKS TO A REFINED MULTI‑CHANNEL BOTTOM
The MultiChannel and tip layout known from the Choice 6 has been retained and further optimized in its construction. Flow‑optimized surfaces, CFD‑analyzed water guidance, lowered rails in the tip area, and the pronounced center bulge deliver extreme edge grip, high top speed, and smooth, controlled landings – even in chop and imperfect touchdowns.
RAIL CHANNELS AND ANGLED FINS – MAXIMUM LOAD BEFORE TAKE‑OFF
The geometry of the rail channels automatically creates a 7‑degree fin angle of attack. When edging hard, the board builds massive line tension, stores energy efficiently, and releases it explosively. The result: maximum jump height, clean take‑offs, and absolute control on the approach. Combined with the new Orca Pro fins, these characteristics can be enhanced even further.
LESS WEIGHT, MORE EFFICIENCY
The 1.5 mm dome deck with continuous mono‑concave increases structural stiffness along the entire board length. In combination with the 7‑degree beveled deck, reverse flex is reduced, power transfer is improved, and early planing is optimized. At the same time, overall weight has been reduced by around 200 g compared to the Choice 6 – delivering faster reactions and noticeably increased agility.
Unibody Edge Light – COMPLETE TORSION BOX FOR MORE POP
Adopted from the Fusion 7: on the Choice 7, the Paulownia Light wood core is fully wrapped in carbon before the ABS rails are applied. This closed structure increases torsional stiffness, reduces weight, and delivers even more rebound force, pop, and control under maximum load. .
SIZE‑SPECIFIC TUNING
Shape and rocker have been individually tuned across all five sizes to optimally match their intended use:
134 / 136 / 138: focus on big air, maximum edge grip, explosive pop
140 / 142: additional focus on unhooked freestyle, slightly stiffer flex, more elliptical outline
