Tested and certified by the IKO, the Sensor 4 can also be used to fly fixed-bridled kites such as the Pace Pro for the first time, as the all-new SFS+ ensures complete blowing out on just one frontline. And of course, it is also fully compatible with all other CORE models as well as many other kites on the market. 

For the first time, it is possible to switch between a high V and a low V (or Y) in a matter of seconds. While all CORE kites are optimized for a high V, a deep V offers advantages for radical action with short lines under 20 meters.

With SFS+ and High/Low-V-Line Split, the Sensor 4 becomes more versatile and can be universally combined with many kites on the market.

CORE Sensor 4 Pro Bar - Single Frontline Safety

100% SINGLE FRONTLINE SAFETY (SFS+)
THE UNIVERSAL SAFETY FOR FIXED AND PULLEY BRIDLED KITES

The Sensor 4 Bar has received an IKO tested SFS+ Safety. When the Quick Release is activated, the bar moves immediately to the kite with both backlines and a frontline. The kite blows out without pressure on only one front line (safety line) without any residual pull. This safety is suitable for fixed bridled kites such as the Pace Pro as well as pulley bridled kites (all other CORE kite models). In combination with our 4:1 adjuster, this is one of the safest safety systems on the market.

HIGH V OR LOW V LINE SPLIT
FOR EVEN MORE ADJUSTABILITY TO YOUR PREFERENCES

The Sensor 4 Bar offers the possibility to switch between a low V and a high V (or Y). While all CORE kites are optimized for a high V, a deep V offers advantages for radical action with short lines from 12 meters and can be combined with many kites on the market. We recommend flying all CORE models with a high V.

ALWAYS PERFECTLY UNTWISTED LINES

Often copied, but never equaled. The Auto Untwist of the Sensor 4 ensures that you always have perfectly sorted front lines. Thanks to the extremely low-friction and low-wear ceramic ball bearing below the Quick Release, the Sensor 4 Bar always unscrews the lines immediately. Without any action on the part of the rider. The result: optimal power flows in every situation and outstanding durability in salt water and sand.

4:1 ADJUSTER

The force required to operate the adjuster is quartered by sophisticated deflections, allowing for smooth, precise angle adjustments with minimal effort, even in the strongest winds. The integrated elastic band automatically shortens the adjuster rope for added convenience.

BAR WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
QUICK ADJUSTABILITY PER KITE SIZE

The bar width of the Sensor 4 can be adjusted between 50 cm / 46.5 cm with a click of the finger. This is made possible by the rotatable control line suspension hidden in the bar ends. In this way, you can optimally adapt your Sensor 4 Pro to the entire size range.

The ISO-certified CORE Intuitive-Connect QR is designed to work effectively even in the most critical situations and can be intuitively released under load as well as with sagging lines. The QR body is made of carbon-fiber-reinforced high-performance plastic and V4A steel at its core. The revised cap of the QR offers a good grip without the risk of accidentally getting caught with the wetsuit. After a trigger, the system is ready for use again in a flash with just one click. The revised locking mechanism with green marking line for easier control prevents false triggering due to loops that are not clicked in correctly.

To attach your Safety Leash, the Sensor 4 is delivered with the Triple Ring. This makes it possible to hook two leashes at the same time when the kite is handed over.

From the beginning in 2020, we have been actively involved in standardizing Quick Release safety requirements under the guidance of the GKA. The ISO standard 21853:2020 introduced during this process specifies release force requirements not only for dry conditions, but also in challenging situations such as heavy sand, high loads, and extreme temperatures. In addition, the material thickness and color have been determined to clearly signal to riders and helpers, regardless of the brand, how to operate the Quick Release in any situation.

This standardized testing process ensures that all manufacturers meet the same rigorous safety requirements, resulting in higher-quality products and real value for customers. Only after successful testing by the independent Fraunhofer Institute in Rostock according to the ISO 21853:2020 requirements, Quick Releases receive the certificate.

At CORE bars, this certification is marked with engravings on both the chicken stick and the Quick Release of the Safety Leash, providing visible proof of compliance and reliability.

SHORT SAFETY LEASH
EXTRA SHORT IS EXTRA SAFE

All CORE bars are supplied with the ISO-compliant Short Safety Leash as standard. At only 55 centimeters, it is pleasantly short, yet elastic for comfortable hooking, and guarantees that the release mechanism is always within easy reach of the rider's field of vision at the front of the harness. If you want to ride unhooked, you can alternatively combine the longer CORE Pro Leash with the Sensor 4 Pro Bar. 

FREE FLOATER
BETTER STEERING. ALWAYS IN REACH

The floaters are positioned a few centimeters above the bar, unattached, providing a unique, smooth, and dynamic sensor control experience. Their new shape enhances the bar's floatability with increased volume. An inner grip surface ensures an intuitive and direct hold for easier kite relaunching. Additionally, the line above the floater is encased in a tube to maintain optimal positioning even without tension.

STRENGTH IN THE DETAILS

A special detail of the sensor lines are the spliced line ends. They are not simply secured by parallel seams but are elaborately spliced before sewing. This guarantees higher strength and more favorable aerodynamics – laying out the lines is also smoother.

In the middle of the bar, the depower lines run from an insert with double channel guide through the spar in an orderly manner. The special material acts like lubricant on the coated linen. In the event of wear, the insert can be easily replaced.

A bar is only as good as the quality of its individual parts. This is exactly why we rely on high-performance polymers made in Germany for all components. Extreme stiffness, low frictional resistance and excellent dimensional stability are the hallmarks of these high-performance plastics.

Titanium has a similar resilience to steel, but at the same time is much lighter and corrosion resistant. That's exactly why the core of the Barholm, as well as some other parts, is made of this high-tech material.  Marine Grade A4 stainless steel is used for the metal components, the ultimate in maritime applications.

The smallest loop shortens the distance to the bar and adjuster by 2 cm and is therefore recommended for women and children.

STANDARD LOOP (S)

The small loop included with the Sensor 4 Pro Bar is tailored to the needs of freeriders and freestylers who mainly ride hooked. Due to its short length, the bar and adjuster remain easily accessible at all times. The rotatable chicken stick can be turned to the side for comfortable hooking. To secure the loop, it is turned inwards and guided through the trapezoidal hook. The Sensor 4 with Standard Loop comes with a triple ring.

The Sensor 4 Pro comes with a combo ring.

With the Rope Slider Loop, we offer a specific solution for wave and foil kiters with a rope harness. Due to its compact design, it brings the bar very close to the body and allows intensive lateral twists of the upper body, without annoying slipping of the harness, which means increased riding comfort in the wave. The Rope Slider is intended exclusively for use with a rope spreaderbar, e.g. of the CORE Link. 

PRO LOOP (L)

For radical wakestylers, freestylers and all kiters who do hooked tricks, the largest Pro Loop available is the perfect complement to the Sensor 4 Pro Bar. Due to its length, hooking and unhooking is easy and intuitive. This loop is also equipped with a chicken stick. When not in use, it turns outwards, that way it will never get in the way of your maneuvers.

PRO LEASH

Are you a radical freestyler or wakestyler, and do you regularly include unhooked maneuvers in your sessions? If so, the Pro Leash 3 is the perfect choice for you.

Its length ensures comfortable passes without the leash becoming restrictive. The swivel allows for independent unwinding. However, the Quick Release is less intuitively accessible when attached to the back of the harness compared to our Short Safety Leash, making this an accessory best suited for professionals.
