(the “Datenschutzerklärung”) and is for informational purposes only. CORE Kiteboarding GmbH is governed by the Datenschutzerklärung. In the event any contradiction or inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and the Datenschutzerklärung is found, the provisions of the Datenschutzerklärung shall prevail.

This privacy policy explains how CORE Kiteboarding GmbH (the “Vendor”), residing at Osterstrasse 47, D-23769 Fehmarn, Tel: +49 4371 889 340, INFO @ RIDECORE.COM and its related entities;,,, and their subdomains collect, store and use personal data when delivering online services (the „Services“). The European legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access Data / Server Log Files

The Vendor (or its internet provider) collects access data on its Services (known as server log files). Access data may include: name of the requested web page, file, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type along with version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited URL), IP address and the requesting provider. The Vendor uses the collected data for statistical purposes, management, security and optimization of the Services. The Vendor maintains the right to store the information to prevent criminal activity.

Handling of Personal Data

Personal data is information that will help identify a person or information that can be traced back to a person. This may include the name, email address, phone number, hobbies, memberships, and website visits. The Vendor will only collect and use personal data that is permitted by law and where the user has consented to the data collection.

While communicating with the Vendor (for example, using a contact form or email), the user’s information to process the request is stored for future contact and/or support.

Comments and Contributions

When users leave comments or other contributions on the Vendor’s blog or websites, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for Vendor’s protection and to potentially identify the author if criminal comments or contributions (insults, banned political propaganda, etc.) are made on the Vendor’s Services.

Our newsletters inform you about new products, services, and news from the Vendor.
If you want to receive the newsletter, we require a valid email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected. The data is used only to facilitate the sending of the newsletters and will not be disclosed to third parties.
Your newsletter registration permits the Vendor to store your IP address and registration date. The stored data may be used as evidence in the event that a third party abused an email address and logs in without the knowledge of the person entitled to receive the newsletter.
Your consent to receive our newsletter; to the storage of data and email address; may be revoked at any time. The revocation can be made via an unsubscribe link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or via a message to the Vendor’s contact details above.

Integration of Third Party Services and Content

The Services may integrate third party content like YouTube videos, Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics. This always assumes that the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as „Third-party“) has a valid IP address. Without an IP address, they can not send to the user’s browser the requested content. The IP address is, therefore, necessary for the presentation of that content. We have no control over the Third-party’s IP address, or whether it is saved for statistical purposes. We will advise users if we learn more about it.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

The Vendor uses social plugins ( „Plugins“) from the social network, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ( „Facebook“). The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo (white „f“ on a blue tile or a „thumbs up“ sign) or are marked with the word „Facebook Social Plugin“. The list and the look of Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: HTTPS://DEVELOPERS.FACEBOOK.COM/DOCS/PLUGINS/.
When a user visits our Services, which contain such a plugin, its browser makes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is from Facebook directly to your browser and integrates it into the website. We have therefore no influence on the amount of data that Facebook captures using these plugins and the user acknowledges and consents to our use of the plugins.
An integrated plugin allows Facebook to receive the page information of that user. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins, for example, press, comment or click the Like button, the corresponding information from your browser is sent directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is a possibility that Facebook captures its IP address and other data and stores it. According to Facebook, this information is stored in Germany only under an anonymous IP address.
The purpose, scope of data collection, processing and use of data by Facebook, together with their rights and ways to protect the privacy of users, can be found here:
If a Facebook user does not want Facebook follow them and store member data on Facebook, the user must log out of Facebook before visiting the Vendor’s Services. It is also possible to disable Facebook social Plugins by finding and installing a “Facebook Blocker” browser add-on.

When a user visits a web page which contains such a button, the browser will connect directly to the Google servers. The contents of the „+1“ button is transmitted from Google directly to his browser, which integrates it into the Services. We have no influence on the amount of data that Google collects with the button. According to Google, no personal data is collected without clicking on the button. Data is collected and processed for logged-in members, including IP addresses.
Purpose, scope of data collection, processing and use of data by Google as well as your rights and settings options to protect your privacy is found in Google’s privacy notices to the „+1“ button, here: HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/ INTL / DE / + / POLICY / + 1BUTTON.HTML and FAQ: HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/INTL/DE/+1/BUTTON/.

The Services use TWITTER buttons. These buttons are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are identified by terminology such as „Twitter“ or „sequence“, connected to a stylized blue bird. Using the buttons, it is possible to share a post or page on Twitter or to follow on Twitter.
When a user visits a web page which contains such a button, a direct connection to the Twitter servers is made. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted from Twitter directly to the user’s browser. The Vendor, therefore, has no control on the amount of data that Twitter uses for this plugin and informs the user accordingly. After this, the IP address of the user is only transmitted with the URL of the relevant website in terms of buttons, but not for other purposes, as the representation of the buttons used.
