The Lotus is your entry into parawinging. Developed specifically for wave foiling, it combines intuitive handling, high stability, and efficient performance.
It’s designed for riders who want to get into the wave efficiently and ride freely, without a wing in hand, or unnecessary complexity.
Built around a modern single-skin design, the Lotus delivers strong upwind performance and forgiving flight characteristics that remain balanced, controllable, and reliable, even in gusty conditions or throughout the learning process.
SIZes:
Sizing is based on wind strength and rider weight. The 4.8 is designed specifically for heavier riders, not as a traditional light-wind option.

Key Feature Snapshot
CORETEX LIGHT CANOPY - MIX
Light. Predictable. Efficient.
The Lotus uses a carefully selected material mix derived from paragliding. A more stable, stiffer fabric in the front section ensures shape integrity and consistent pull, while a lighter, more flexible material in the rear optimizes handling, stashability, and overall weight.
The canopy is further supported by ribs with reinforced coating, adding structural stiffness. The result: a calm, predictable flight behavior with high efficiency, controlled power delivery, and long-term durability.
Curved Bar
Full control. Fully intuitive
The curved bar enables a more natural hand position – especially in overpowered conditions. It supports the Lotus’ smooth steering characteristics and enables precise handling during starts, steering, and stashing.
Lines & Line Bridge
Clean setup. Precise handling.
The Lotus uses stiffer lines than traditional kite setups to reduce tangling and simplify handling. The lower sections are intentionally thicker to improve grip and control, while the upper sections are thinner to minimize drag.
Nitinol Reinforcements
Shape stability that lasts
A key technical highlight of the Lotus are the Nitinol rods in the Leading Edge. This high-performance titanium-based material, known from paragliding, is defined by exceptional shape stability and memory properties.
Even under load, the Leading Edge retains its structure and returns to its original shape after stashing. This enhances durability while ensuring consistent handling, clean re-opening, and additional control.
A deliberate choice that prioritizes function and durability over minimum weight.
Shape & High Aspect Ratio Design
Earlier lift. Longer glide.
The single-skin construction uses a higher High Aspect Ratio Design than many other parawings on the market. Combined with a profile optimized for stability and consistent pull, this results in high efficiency and impressive upwind performance.
The efficient profile allows riders to use smaller sizes without sacrificing power or control. At the same time, the flight behavior remains calm and forgiving – a deliberate balance of performance, control, and usability, specifically for wave foiling.
Perfect Match: Match ELXR & Parawing World
The Lotus Parawing reveals its full potential when paired with the ELXR Frontwing.
While the Lotus enables maximum upwind efficiency and precise positioning, the ELXR stands out with early lift, exceptional glide, and highly efficient energy transfer.
Once the Lotus is stashed, the foil takes over. Long, controlled turns, seamless connections between sections, and a natural surf feel emerge effortlessly, with minimal input required.
In combination with mid-length boards such as the Roamer S from 78L or Chase, together they create an efficient setup for early takeoffs, flowing turns, and long, uninterrupted rides.
