Reel Fit System for precise adjustment 

At the heart of the Ultra 3 is the new Reel Fit System (RFS). A central dial mechanism allows the Strap to be adjusted precisely to different foot shapes and sizes. The self-centering lacing system distributes pressure evenly across the instep and provides secure hold without pressure points. The result: more control, consistent comfort and a binding that can be fine-tuned at any time during the session.

Comfort and Board feedback in balance 

The ergonomically shaped Ultra 3 Pad provides secure hold without restricting freedom of movement. A pronounced toe ridge supports the foot position, while the balanced pad firmness absorbs all types of landings without reducing direct contact with the Board. The result is a comfortable riding feel with precise feedback and controlled power transfer. 

 

One Baseplate for almost every setup 

With the new Union Baseplate, the Ultra 3 provides maximum flexibility when fine-tuning the setup. Variable hole spacing enables compatibility with different Board standards and track systems. At the same time, the adjustable construction allows precise positioning of the binding for the desired combination of stance, control and riding feel. 

 

Developed for long-term performance 

Robust materials, a sand- and saltwater-resistant mechanism and a modular construction make the Ultra 3 a durable binding system. The replaceable padding component enables additional adjustments and extends the service life of the binding over many seasons.

  • BOARD SAVER: EVA protective layer reduces sand and stones entering beneath the Pad and protects the Board surface
  • SAND & SALTWATER RESISTANT: sand- and saltwater-resistant RFS mechanism for reliable function
  • REPLACEABLE PADDING: quickly replaceable padding for adapting to different foot sizes and summer/winter setups

S & L

*Based on experience, size S is suitable up to EU 43 without neoprene boots or up to EU 41 with neoprene boots (>3 mm). Size L fits from EU 41 without neoprene boots or from EU 39 with neoprene boots. In the overlapping ranges, both sizes may provide a suitable fit. For the optimal fit, we recommend trying the Pads and Straps beforehand.
