Use of Facebook Social Plugins
The Vendor uses social plugins ( „Plugins“) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ( „Facebook“). The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo (white „f“ on a blue tile or a „thumbs up“ sign) or are marked with the word „Facebook Social Plugin“. The list and the look of Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: HTTPS://DEVELOPERS.FACEBOOK.COM/DOCS/PLUGINS/.
When a user visits our Services, which contain such a plugin, its browser makes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is from Facebook directly to your browser and integrates it into the website. We have therefore no influence on the amount of data that Facebook captures using these plugins and the user acknowledges and consents to our use of the plugins.
An integrated plugin allows Facebook to receive the page information of that user. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins, for example, press, comment or click the Like button, the corresponding information from your browser is sent directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is a possibility that Facebook captures its IP address and other data and stores it. According to Facebook, this information is stored in Germany only under an anonymous IP address.
The purpose, scope of data collection, processing and use of data by Facebook, together with their rights and ways to protect the privacy of users, can be found here: HTTPS://WWW.FACEBOOK.COM/ABOUT/PRIVACY/
If a Facebook user does not want Facebook follow them and store member data on Facebook, the user must log out of Facebook before visiting the Vendor’s Services. It is also possible to disable Facebook social Plugins by finding and installing a “Facebook Blocker” browser add-on.
+1 Button on Google+
Our Services may use the „+1“ button from the Google Plus social network, operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ( „Google“). The plugins are identifiable by the „+1“ on a white or colored background.
When a user visits a web page which contains such a button, the browser will connect directly to the Google servers. The contents of the „+1“ button is transmitted from Google directly to his browser, which integrates it into the Services. We have no influence on the amount of data that Google collects with the button. According to Google, no personal data is collected without clicking on the button. Data is collected and processed for logged-in members, including IP addresses.
Purpose, scope of data collection, processing and use of data by Google as well as your rights and settings options to protect your privacy is found in Google’s privacy notices to the „+1“ button, here: HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/ INTL / DE / + / POLICY / + 1BUTTON.HTML and FAQ: HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/INTL/DE/+1/BUTTON/.
Twitter
The Services use TWITTER buttons. These buttons are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are identified by terminology such as „Twitter“ or „sequence“, connected to a stylized blue bird. Using the buttons, it is possible to share a post or page on Twitter or to follow on Twitter.
When a user visits a web page which contains such a button, a direct connection to the Twitter servers is made. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted from Twitter directly to the user’s browser. The Vendor, therefore, has no control on the amount of data that Twitter uses for this plugin and informs the user accordingly. After this, the IP address of the user is only transmitted with the URL of the relevant website in terms of buttons, but not for other purposes, as the representation of the buttons used.
